All Out Cricket Coaching
All Out Cricket Coaching offers year-round courses to boys and girls of all ages and abilities. Taught by a team of highly qualified and ECB affiliated coaches, our intensive courses take place in great venues around York. They give kids the opportunity to spend between one and four days per week in the company of other budding cricketers, working on a range of skills and having a fantastic time in the process.
AOCC formed in 2007 after our head coaches and founders were awarded the Nancy Ovens Bursary. This allowed them to shadow professional coaches at Yorkshire County Cricket club for a full year and gain a wealth of valuable coaching knowledge and expertise.
Together, the AOCC team have years of experience working with children in a coaching environment, running courses with up to 50 participants a week. The coaching staff have an excellent rapport with the kids, and courses are designed to be both challenging and fun. All of our coaches are CRB checked and are qualified to ECB Level 2 or above.
Here’s what our young cricketers can expect from one of our courses:
– High-quality venues
– Video analysis using iPads
– Coaching points
– Innovative session drills
– Players streamed by ability
– Fun games throughout the day
– Structured and supervised playtime

“My son has been coming to All Out Cricket Coaching for 18 months now and wants to return every holiday. The sessions are constructive and fun and my son’s bowling and ability has improved considerably. He has learnt a lot. The coaching is excellent and to a high standard and all the children that attend appear eager to learn. A lot is packed into a day and the course provides excellent value for money.”Amanda Wood
“My son has been returning to All Out Cricket Coaching for a number of years and really has enjoyed all the camps he has been on. The coaches are all great, patient and ensure the kids are happy and have fun. Thank you for providing something my son loves doing in the school holidays.”Gill Dyer
“Our son has Aspergers and team sports are extremely challenging for him, not to mention the social interaction before and after. Scott and his team have made our son feel he is a valuable member of the team and keep him coming. This is his third year. Thanks guys, you do a wonderful thing.”Caroline Turner
Does ability matter on the courses?
Not at all. All we ask is that the participants have an interest in the sport.
How old do participants have to be?
The youngest participant on the courses are aged 6. The oldest participants are generally 13-14. As long as we have a small group of players of similar ages we can split groups and put appropriate sessions on.
What types of balls do you use?
The selection of balls will be based on a player’s ability and how comfortable they feel facing a particular ball. We have a range of soft tennis balls, tennis balls, incredible balls, wind balls and hard balls.
Who are the staff?
The staff are all qualified coaches and are affiliated to the ECB. The majority of staff are qualified PE teachers or sports staff.
